Connecting with people in your practice

    We know that as an assistant coach it is important to try to build positive relationships with the people taking part in your activity. Sometimes though, it can be difficult to create a connection and start a conversation.

    It would be fantastic to hear about any ways you connect with people and start to develop a rapport helping everyone in your activity to feel supported.

    Here are a few ideas to get us started…

    1. Try to remember some of the names of people coming
    2. Smile lots
    3. Be really positive and highlight the things people are doing well
