In our first Coach Developer Conversations Extra session of 2021 we are delighted to welcome Australian Alex Lascu to talk about her research into representative learning design. Alex’s research has focused on the impact of high levels of representativeness in practice when working with amateur female cricketers.

Her recent paper, ‘Train how you play’: using representative learning design to train amateur cricketers is attached.  Ahead of our session, please feel free to read the paper (attached) and consider:

    • What you notice
    • What this means for you
    • How it might impact on your practice as a coach and a coach developer

Huge thanks to Alex for Friday's session - the video will be up very soon.

In the meantime here is another article from her to have a read of (thanks  Dusty Miller for the share!)

How can we change our game when there is no game to play?

Links to the fantastic blog by  lucy moore   Where are all the female coaches?

And lots of other great discussion on that thread.
